I have a strange issue – when I go to the media>network and navigate to my home media server my 2000T doesn’t display some of the videos.

For example, I have a folder of all of the BC Sherlock episodes, and only the episodes from the 3rd series are displayed.

    Background:

When I acquired the 3 series, 1 and 2 were as .mkv which I’ve never had work on the 2000T so I converted to MP4 (FFMPEG, mirroring codec info from the 3rd series which works fine) but none of them work.

I’ve attached the mediainfo output for 2×01 (my encode) which doesnt appear in the Hummy media menu, and 3×01 which does.

Any ideas as to why the 2000t wont display the episodes I’ve encoded?

Does anyone have suggests as to a better codec to use to retain quality in a small file size and get 2000T playback?

You have a very strange format makes it very difficult to read. Can you use the the Mediainfo treeview text export facility to create a text file.

Treeview – export Text tab. This will create a file with a carriage return after each data item. If you open this in notepad you can copy and paste the text directly into a post.
