    I’ve recently moved from the UK to Australia and am trying to get my 9300T working here. I expect I need to upgrade firmware or something. Is it possible and if so is there a step by step guide somewhere?

    I doubt you will find much advice – the TV standards are in fact similar (at least the analogue were) but I expect the EPG to be different in any case. You will not find firmware to support use in Australia which has it’s own set of different models.

    Try a scan and if nothing is found recycle it.

    DVB-T in Oz uses a different channel spacing to the UK. The Topfield pvrs could be used but only by downloading and installing an Aussie firmware. I doubt that would be available for Humax pvrs.
