After approx 3 hrs of watching the same channel without changing I get a message to say the box will revert to standby mode – how do I prevent this?
Turn off Automatic power down:
Settings
System settings
Power saving
Automatic power down – set to off

Thanks did not go into system settings till I read this, had been going into general settings. Then there it was.
Really would like to know just where on the box to point the remote at as it is very hit and miss, and as it needs a count of about 40/50 to show it has made contact so any suggestions would be welcome Humax 1100s Batteries show full
Just worked that out I think, its PRESS the on button not a quick click so I counted to 5 it worked 3/4 times
