Before I got this wonderful little box I used the freeview built into my Sony Bravia tv. Now I use the 2000T all I see in the channel list are tv channels and no digital radio. Also in bbci player there are no radio progammes to play back like there are online.

Is there something I am missing ?

To view radio channels in ‘List’ function, press list then right arrow for choices – HDTV, Radio favourites etc.

In guide, press blue then select radio.

The BBC removed radio from latest version(s) of iplayer

    It’s actually a TV station. :-)

Apparently this is another ploy to woo younger listeners.

    Quote:
BBC Radio 1 has announced it is going to get its own channel on BBC iPlayer.

The station says the move will allow fans to watch exclusive performances and interviews not broadcast anywhere else.

It’s hoped the move to BBC iPlayer will help reach more young people.

Now I use the 2000T all I see in the channel list are tv channels and no digital radio.

In addition to the technique Martin has described in the second post there are other ways as well.

Alternatively when watching a TV channel through your 2000T if you know the Radio channel number then you can key this is in and the 2000T will switch to that Radio channel.

The favourite lists can be a mix of TV and Radio stations. Using a favourite list with all your TV and Radio programmes and there will be no need to switch between TV and Radio as your guide and list will contain both.

Also if your remote control ever needs replacing and you only use it to control the 2000T and not the TV then you could replace it with the remote for the 1800T which has a dedicated TV/Radio toggle button.
