My new 2000T shows signal strength of only 10%. A manual search showed the same. My TV and the previous Humax show 55-60%. Is my box faulty or is this a characteristic of this model? Is there anything I can do? And will I have the same problem every time there is a search for new channels?

My signal strength regularly shows 20%. As long as the quality is 100% I wouldn’t worry too much.

What software version is the box running? There were changes in this area in the latest software.

The software version is UKTFAC 1.00.07. Is there something later?

Re the previous response, I checked the signal strength because the picture was/is constantly freezing. I see the Humax manual recommends a minimum of 30%. So I do need to worry.

I’ve just upgraded the software and my signal strength is now universally 40-50%.

Thank you, both. Having upgraded the software my signal strength is now averaging 60%. Hopefully plain sailing from here on.
