Hi there
I have a couple of questions re my Fox T2 I wondered if anyone could answer.
1. When it automatically says it needs to re-tune, I lose all the programmes I have set up to record. Is there a way around this?
2. If I want to record a programme in 6 days time, is there a way to find it on the guide without having to scroll through 6 days worth of programmes?
Any help gratefully received!
1 yes – install the Custom Firmware which has two options, Suppress the auto retune dialogue and will back up your recording schedule every day. If you have this you don’t need option 2.
2 – 2 options
Use the search button to find the programme name
Open the epg, tap in the channel number to move to the correct line in the epg.
Line up the time using the forward time skip key (second from left above the colour keys). The same pair of keys will skip adverts when playing back recordings.
Skip forward 24 hours at a time to get to the time slot (or vice versa)
Right button above the colour keys.
There is also a find by keywords option on the epg under green if I remember right.
Useful for finding repeats on the multiple channels we have these days..
