    Hi all,

I have an older Humux foxsat (freesat) HDR probably 5 years old (think it’s tne 320gb model) and used to work fine getting the iplayer. Have upgraded to the 1tb one and moved the old one to the bedroom.

For the life of me I can not get it connected so that iplayer etc can be watched on it.

We have BT infinity at home with new model hub and is (or was)networked with a couple of Solwise home plugs. have tried different Lan cables and various ports on the homeplug but nothing.

Had a similar issue with the new model and have manually added IP; subnet etc and got that working.

Do the 2 lights on the Humax Lan port mean anything? There is one green and the other is orange?

    details:

    Model: Foxsat-HDR

    S/w Version: HPRSFCI 1.00.21

    Loader Version: U 7.52

    System ID: 3768.0000

    Update Date: 27 July 2012

    Welcome to the forum,

The green light indicates it is connected to a source proving current (normally a router but could be a homeplug). The Orange is a traffic indicator (flashes).

Is DHCP enabled on the router? What LAN settings have you made on the 320 unit?

Do the homeplugs need to be re-associated?

    Thanks for the welcome.

DHCP is enabled on router. Do you mean what manual settings have been made, ie ip etc? If so then none as done auto config thing.

When I log onto router these are the settings

    Hub IP gateway address:

    IP addy: 192.168.1.254

    subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    DHCP Server

    Enable = Yes

    DHCP Network Range

    192.168.1.64 – 192.168.1.253 (default) – Selected

    172.16.0.64 – 172.16.255.254 – Unselected option

    Configure Manually – unselected option

Lease Time: 1 Day 0 hours

Will try manually adding IP address and subnet shortly and see how I get on.

    Thanks
