I have just purchased a HDR-1000S and I am having a trouble receiving any Freesat channels. Whenever I turn on the unit, it boots up but there is notable delay before it displays the channel. I am using the unit in Freesat mode and have update to the latest firmware.

I turn on the unit and the current channel is BBC 1. A message appears about a buffer being underrun, and then the message that the current channel is scrambled. If I look at the signal indicator during this the strength and quality are both high. After about 5 minutes or so the channel will finally display.

However, if I switch channels to Channel 4, everything comes to life and I can then watch any channel with no delay. If I leave it on Channel 4, there is no delay on the next startup.

I was previously using a Humax Foxsat box with no issues, and I have not changed my dish or cabling. Is my new HDR faulty or am I missing something?
