Sorry for so initial questions …..

Can anybody advise me where the IR Sensors are located on the HDR 1000? I am trying to link up a triax box but cannot see where to place the IR transmitters.

I confirm the 9V light comes on to the magic eye and I can see the humax picture clearly on my remote TV. But I cannot control it.

(additional information: I have *not* connected the SCART output to the local TV from the Triax output. (I am using HDMI to view it) The SCART input on the Triax box is connected to the SCART on the HDR 1000)
