My HDR 1000S refuses to record quite frequently. This monday I found the new series of Silk on BBC 1 at 9PM in the EPG. Clicked on it, the Record option came up, clicked on that No result. No red R and no recording. I tried other programmes on BBC1, which worked. I tried the Graham Norton show, later on BBC2, same thing, no go.
This seems random and intermittent. I suspect it has come with the latest software update in January.
Anyone else having these issues?

Hi welcome to the forum. That’s a new one on me. Usual advice make a note of your recording schedule and carry out a reset to factory defaults.

I have had this problem too and from what i have experienced it only refuses to add a recording if the box is currently recording.
Try again when you know the box is not recording and see if the problem still occurs.
I have tested this extensively. The problems appear to have started after the January Software Update. Humax support have had me do all sort of restarts, even reformatted the drive. A friend has exactly the same problem. After a Factory Reset all is well, but as soon as unwanted channels are edited off the list, the problem returns. This is really bad.
