    I bought a FOXSAT HDR about 2 years ago, but for various reasons did not install it. I now wish to fire it up. Are there any considerations that I should be aware of. Thanks in advance … Pete in SW France.

    Only that the software will be somewhat out of date. You will most likely need to update it using a usb stick.

    Graham, thanks for your suggestion. Sorry, I’m really new … so I guess I download onto a USB stick from my PC? How do I go about this

    I’ll jump in here and help for a mo:

    Software can also be found:

    http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/freesat-hd

    About half way down page you need Foxsat-HDR_1.00.21.zip

    Click on the download link and save to PC. Extract and you will find software file, and a txt file with instructions on how to upload to Foxsat.

    Graham a bit quicker then me :-)

    All now working ok after loading updated software. Did a software check from the box and it reported no new software to download.

    So thanks very much for your advice.
