Is there a known problem getting the YouView box to work with remote extenders? These are devices that allow you to control the box from another room.

I have tried mine with two makes of extender (Marmitek and Nikkai) and in each case the response is either slow and unreliable or non-existent. All the other devices in my cabinet work fine (Pioneeer receiver, Sony TV, Sony BluRay, Sky box). The YouView remote works fine when pointed at the cabinet but the remote extenders do not.

I can’t find any posts about this – does anyone have a setup that works well?

The box is a DTR-T1000/GB/1TB bought Jan13.
