Some mounths ago I buy a Humax PDR I-cord hd 250 gb on Amazon and I was

sure to have made a great deal but when I install it I

found that the menu not included the Italian (It’s imported from Germany).

So I ask if someone Know where can I find a fimware that

    can make this change.

Of course I’ve already tried with Humax Italy but …. nothing.

they gave me a file that is not loaded from usb!!!

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english :(

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

This site is primarily aimed at supporting UK products/customers, however in an effort to help:

    1. Obviously Humax Italy is your best hope of providing assistance.

    2. When you say not loaded from usb do you get any error codes displayed when trying?

    3. In UK to load software from usb the file has to be the correct name, and loaded to the root directory of pendrive, no doubt this will be similar for your product.

Thank you anyway for the “effort” but of course I had already contacted the humax Italy that had sent me a file, but while following their instructions to the letter it seems that the software is not loaded from the decoder.the file was loaded on a empty pendrive directly (no folders or subdirectories) ….

Humax boxes can be quite picky about which usb pen drives work. It would be worth trying a different one. Before you use it carry out a format (FAT32) to ensure a clean start.

What’s the file extension on the file you have ?
