Since “the happening” (the software update) I see a horrible faded-alpha-opacity overlay each time I perform a command (channel change, pause, menu exit) that obscures half of the screen.

I don’t want it. Can I get rid of it? I looked in the settings and don’t see it.

Why would Humax do something like this without letting you control whether it happens or not, or for how long.

Hint to Humax: If you’re in doubt about how something should work, don’t make a decision and hard-code it. Instead, make a decision and default it, but let advanced users willing to dig around change it. Oh, and maintain all these choices between software updates of course.
