    Following all my T1000 problems with HDMI output, I’ve now bought a new box.

    So now I will have two T1000 boxes for a few weeks, it would be nice to be able to cover up the IR port on the one I’m not using, but no matter which part of the front panel I cover, the remote still works.

    I had this problem – three Humax boxes running at once. Solved by following the extremely helpful instructions at http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/multi-code-function-hdhdr-remote#post-31

    The remote responds, but the T1000 doesn’t.

    Ah. I must have changed the code for the other two boxes (HDR-2000T and HB-1000S) and left the T1000 unchanged.

    Perhaps ring Humax? Ask them if there’s a procedure for changing the code on one of your T1000s.

    You cannot change the code on T1000

    As the front panel is the same as a HDR T2 perhaps it is located in same position which is half way between cental control and vol – button.
