    Hi. In the process of seting up HDR-1000s with rm-102s remote. Does anybody know if I can use this remote to control my Panasonic viera tv.

    That R/C has no TV control functions. The AV button does nothing.

    Does your Panasonic TV not have its own remote control that you can use?

    Hi Brian,

    Yes it does., but we have gotten used to using a single remote with sky+ and tv, so would like to get back to that.

    I have a couple of cheap universals I will have a play with.

    Don’t know whether this helps, but a month or so ago I decided to try and do away with all my remotes and go for a single one to control all my devices – Panasonic TV, Humax 1000S, BluRay DVD and Denon amp. Having read up on this, I opted for the One for All Smart Control URC 7960.

    It works superbly. I had one or two initial hiccups getting the detailed set ups for the Humax, but One for All customer services offer absolutely FIRST CLASS support and they resolved all my problems for me. I found mine on offer at Maplin for £15
