My TV has a part on my remote than can put it into sleep mode from 15 mins upwards. I have the 1010s model and know it switches off if not used after 3 hours. Would be good if it had a timer same as my TV as I like to listen to a TV programme at night and put timer on for say 30 mins and TV stops but Humax continues for a further 3 hours before going off.
No, but you can set it to turn off at a specific time instead.

Where do I find that?
Settings – General Settings – Power Off Timer. You could experiment with the reminder option on the epg. If you set a reminder reservation the box will wake up for the programme. Never tried it but I guess it goes into sby at the end.
Excellent! Works perfect as I just tried it. Only thing is to remember to switch it off again because I reckon it will switch off at the same time every day/morning.
Thanks for the info as it will save it from running for 3 hours if I only want it for 30 mins or so.
