Hi,

Have just changed my sky HD box for a HDR 1010S

Initially quite pleased with its capabilities.

Although have a little problem which I’m hoping somebody can please advise me on.

I’d read that it was diseqc 1.2

(had never heard of diseqc until a few weeks back when i started researching replacement satellite receivers)

Have just had a satellite engineer install a second dish with a diseqc motorised arm.

The problem is that the box doesn’t recognise the technomate motorised arm.

Have accessed the secret menu from “transponder”, and can access other satellites manually.

But the box just sees the diseqc arm as “fixed”

I’m not finding humax very helpful.

I’ve been advised to replace the box with a Technomate TM-2T

Would be most grateful if anybody knows how to rectify this please ?

Also presuming that the motorised arm worked as expected, would I be able to watch other satellite feeds without scrubbing my Freeview planner ?
