    Hi,

I have a DTR-T1000 which keeps on getting stuck on “Nearly There” when booting. If I reset / recover using the maintenance mode it all comes back fine and i can go through the first time install mode. If i cancel the “software update” step the box is perfectly useable again, but as soon as the automatic software update kicks in, the rebooted box never comes back.

I have done this numerous times with the same outcome each time. Does anyone know whether there are some known issues with the current latest software update? Failing that is there a way of stopping it auto installing the latest updates?

My box is less than a year old but i’ve list the receipt of purchase else would have sent it back already

    Many Thanks

    Liam

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

What are the current software versions on your unit?

    Hi,

    Manufacturer software: 10.6.0

    component software 1.3.4

    Platform config: 332

    Model: DTRT10000

    Variant: 80B07000

I am actually a little more confused now. Not certain it’s the software update. Basically whenever it goes to sleep (orange light) I can wake it but get a blank screen. Holding power button or 8 seconds reboots it but then back into the ‘nearly there’ state.

I fear your only option is a swap out, but you need to find prooof of purchase, receipt, bank statement, credit card statement etc.

Can you confirm that the unit is connected to and has a working LAN connection?
