Hi, I’ve linked the youtube app on the box to my tablet browser via the code, I just wanted to check, do I need to do this every time I want to control the app via my tablet browser?

Nope you shouldn’t need to, just open the app on the box and on the tablet and when you play a video just tap the TV icon and select the other output.
I’ve named mine <free time>.
