Can you please help. I would like to be able to control the Humax by a Samsung tablet or iPad. Does such an app exist? Also although I can see the device on our network I don’t seem to be able to do much other than view files. Is there a download that allows me some control functionality via a PC

I think you are looking for the custom firmware which amongst other things has a virtual remote control to allow the Humax to be operated from another device. See http://wiki.hummy.tv/wiki/Custom_Firmware_Overview
