Last night I set up the HUMAX to record two consecutive programs on BBC FOUR. Not a series or anything, just two separate, stand-alone programs. The first program started to record then stopped after 16 minutes and the second program never started. Nothing else was set to record at the same time so no conflicts. Its not the first time this has happened. Any thoughts anyone?
After thinking about it a bit more I think its a disc problem – only starts to happen when the Disc Used indicator shows 33%. Up to then its fine. Is there anything I can do? Would a Disc Format or Disc Clean Up help?
Presumably that will lose all our recordings so far?

Another thing to consider about incomplete recordings is the problem that I am experiencing right now, the box will just reboot itself for no reason, so if you are recording and this happens 15 minutes into the recording it will stop recording at that point even though it reboots back to the program it was recording, so 15 minutes is all you will find when you go and watch the program. The box gives no indication it has done a sneaky reboot behind your back as it will be just as you left it.
