InactiveHi
I have just gone through the process of setting up my recently purchased HDR Fox T2, when I came to check to see if it had the latest software I came across the following software version: 1.03.06 March 2013.
I was under the impression that the latest version was 1.02.32
Thanks for any explanations

InactiveYou appear to have later version of software. 1.02.32 may be the latest Over air version but 1.03.06 is version that available on the humax download site

Has 1.02.32 ever been OTA? Do you have a link to 1.03.06?

InactiveOut of interest I have looked on the net for this firmware and it only seems to appear in relation to a Humax 5400z. Unless its very new for the T2 I cant find it anywhere, maybe Brian can solve this?

InactiveThe firmware has not been released.
Humax have the strange habbit of putting beta firmware (even closed beta it seems) on to production machines.
Its probably just a case of the factory looking at the firmware folder and using the latest by date.

ModeratorAs I understand it:
Only firmware that has passed SQE testing will get loaded at factory.
There can be a number of reasons as to why it is not released to all. Changes in production require a tweak in firmware, later version already in beta etc etc.

InactiveSorry I meant Barry not Brian, always been bad with names. So we just wait for an update, that’s fine because the last firmware has not caused me any insurmountable problems.

InactiveWhy can’t firmware that has passed SQE testing be made available on the beta site in that case? It only takes 2 minutes to log into google and upload it.
There must also be a changelog of some sort that is sent to the testers so they know what to test too, so that wouldn’t take any extra time to prepare either..
Not moaning, just interested.

ModeratorChangelog, changelog, what is that

but
Seriously – I did request that later version be uploaded to Beta site, however that request appears to have been forgotten – will send a reminder, however as testing on later version appears to be progressing well they might be holding off to release that.
