ever since we bought this unit, we have hd problems with the playback of recorded shows. Some will playback fine, others will stutter and hiccup throughout the show, often missing large chunks of the programme and losing sync between the video and audio.

Often we can jump backwards and manage to get the show to play ok for a few minutes before it starts with the same problems again. We often find to reset the playback properly requires the playback to be stopped and then started again (rather than just paused or rewound).

Its definitely a playback fault, as almost all the jumping /stuttering shows will playback the material that first viewing passed over…so its recorded it all, just doesnt want to play it all back!

We are tuned to WinterHill. Its not tuned to any other transmitters – we have checked that after having other recording problems!

any ideas what might cure this?
