When I set my recorder to ‘record series’ I get multiple recordings of the same programme. For example: I get the first scheduled showing, then the repeat later in the day, then the showing on the channel+1 station etc (the recording was not set for the +1 channel). This means that on some days I have 6 versions of the same programme! This is a real problem when I go away as I end up with an endless list of recordings….Please can anyone help.

which programmes or series are you recording?
Is it channel5 and it gets the repeats on 5+1 and 5* and 5usa by any chance?

You have not provided any programme details, but at a guess would they possibly be broadcast on C5 – if so, almost certainly a C5 issue with series coding, nothing you can do about except if programmes scheduled for the same time each day then set as one off and edit the repeat function of the timer to daily/weekday etc.
