Hi,
Odd one….
Yesterday, my HDR started ‘audio description’ despite it being turned off ion the menu.
Cannot work out how to switch it off!
Would welcome any ideas…?
Try turning it ON in the menu then come all the way out. Then turn it ON again.
Failing that, a power-cycle may help using the ON/OFF switch at the back.

Your solution worked, I can change the audio track from ‘audio description’ to ‘english’ and this cures it.
However, I have to do this everytime I start playback – my default now appears to be ‘audio description’. Not sure how this has happened, looking at previous posts I can’t find similar issues.

Check Menu – Settings – Language – Audio Description is set to Disable
That was the first thing I checked….
I’ll do a bit more fiddling.

Last idea (short of a factory reset). Check Menu Settings Language Preferred Language is English
