Hi

I have installed the new HDR 1000S freesat box. There are three existing feeds downstairs (dont know why) as only one seems to be connected to the satellite dish. Another cable appears to come from the dish direct to an upstairs room.

I only pickup a signal on one of the cables (downstairs) so it looks like I cannot record one channel whilst watching another.

Could I put a T splitter on the cable on the one cable going to the box, and thereby feeding the one cable (split nto 2) to the sockets on the humax box, hopefully then allowing me to record one channel whilst watching another?
