Hi, sorry for this basic question but does this unit allow twin recording, whilst also playing back a previously recorded program from the HDD (as per sky+). I have looked everywhere but this isn’t mentioned at all.

It also gives you access to some 3rd channels while recording two. In fact all of them if the two recordings are from the same transponder like say BBC-HD and BBC1-HD. You could say record BBC1-HD and BBC-HD and watch CH4-HD, when one of the two recording finishes if it’s before the end of the CH4-HD programme you can record that as well by simply pressing record. Last time I played with this you can press record at any time, the recording will be made when the first BBC recording finishes
