Can anyone tell me what video aspects this unit supports. In really fed up with videos that are narrower than 16 by 9 being stretched. Effectively removing the black bars from be top and bottom. Which makes all the people’s head all stretched and wrong.
I can’t understand why this fox hasn’t been addressed, especially as he thumbnail that shows of the video is displayed correctly. And also how to I express my feedback to freesat officially?
I haven’t checked for a while, but last time I looked the aspect ratio displayed was… 16:9. I.E. anything in 1920 * 1080 will display OK, as will 1280 * 720…
I thought this issue had been (at least partially) resolved in the latest firmware update – what version are you on?
I’m on the latest version. Anything that is 2.35:1 gets stretched to full 16:9 ad the black bars are Missing at he top and bottom
