Could you please advise me as to whether there is any proposed timescale for the implementation of the DLNA Server capability for the HDR-1000S? That is, I want to be able to stream from The HDR-1000s HDD to my DLNA Panasonic TV in another room. ( Subject to the known limitations regarding protected content )

    Thanks

    No timescale known at present.

They really need to fix the DLNA client before they start adding more features to this unit.

    Hello Everybody,

I am on the DLNA track again. Does anyone have access to the full technical spec for the new HDR 1010S device?

    Many thanks

Not as far as I know, but apart from built in WiFi it’s internally identical to the 1000S.

No News, but still planned, I suspect freesat decide the roadmap for updates/added features, and this is not one of their priorites.

    Thanks Barry,

Yes, I had rather guessed that they had more pressing priorities judging by the problems raised on this Forum. I will check again in another 6 months.
