Purchased a Humax HDR-Fox T2 box & it is connected to a 6 year old Sony TV type KDL-V40A12U by a HDMI connection.
The Humax has the latest version of software, 1.02.29 but on switch on I get what I would call a Flash over & Green screen for a few seconds.
Also I have to have the sound up to level 14/15 out of the 20 levels on the sound bar.
Are these problems with the box or are they just normal operating conditions?
If problems any ideas for solution?
The latest software is 1.02.32, but that has not been broadcast OTA yet, and is available to download and update via USB drive.
The Green screen is to do with the HDMI handshaking and is quite normal.
Have you tried increasing the volume to 20 on the HDR-FOX T2, as this is usually set to a default of 10.

Do you know when OTA of version 32 will take place?
Also sometimes the Green screen remains & no connection with the TV is made, is this normal?
Re the sound, my point is that for normal listening it seems strange that the sound needs to be put up to 14/15 out of 20 parts.But you are inferring, I think that it should be higher.Do I not understand on this point?

In case it is helpful to somebody, by experiment I have found that if I turn on the Humax box before the TV & let it warm up for a few moments, then turn on the TV, I do not get the Flash over/Green Screen problem.
