    Can someone point me in the right direction.

    I have had to replace my HDD (replacement is a Seagate Pipelne 2 500gb

    I have formatted with ext3 3 partitions as per instuctions

    Storage is blanked out so cannot access HDD

    Have installed 1.02.32 FW

    When I go to installation and select “format” HDD it says “processing”

    help please.

    Also installed CF FW on top but not sure how to use it.

    You did not need to format the HDD, the Humax should have done it for you. I replaced the HDD in one of my boxes without any problems, and let the Humax format it.

    It can take hours to format the drive, it’s best to do one thing at a time and wait for it to finish.

    The easiest option would have been to put the 500GB in the Humax and let it sort itself out

    I’m assuming the drive is now formatted and working now that you have CF FW (custom firmware?) installed.

    Best way of learning about the CF FW is to open a browser on your pc/mac/tablet etc. put the Humax’s i.p. address in and play
