Space is needed for the record buffer (sized for HD recordings of up to 3 hours I think), The EPG, User space, Recording Schedule and the operating system – The space percentage will vary with disk size but yours looks OK.
thanks for your reply i downloaded the new software from a memory stick so will test if recordings from standby work when i come in from work tomorrow
