I have lost my text on my you view box when I press the text button the red light comes on but no text.

Not sure what you mean by “text”? Teletext aka Interactive? Subtitles? Or menus?

Which channel? Note that text is not available on the HD channels.
Mine has been missing since Friday!… I’ve just registered to check if it’s just me or if anyone else has had a similar problem.

What channel(s) are you trying to view text on?
I’m still not getting the teletext on BBC 1 (not HD) Ive tried pressing the red button but still no text.
When I press the text and red button the PVR button lights up.

That happens to me from time to time. All on the BBC (SD) channels. I had to turn it off and on again via the switch at the back. Then when it booted up, the red button (text) started to work again.
As above turn it off and on again via the switch at the back.
text started to work again.
