    I have a Humax HDR-FOX T2 which I am completely satisfied with. Some time ago I undertook a YouView Trial. I was given a Humax Box to test. After the trial I was allowed to keep the box. From the outside it looks exactly the same as My FOX T2. however it is a very inferior PVR to the FOX T2. I am not particularly interested in the Ondemand features of Youview and wondered if it is possible to load software to the Youview box to turn it into another FOX T2. I would be far happier with a second quality PVR rather than the YouView box.

    They may look the same, unfortunately under the skin they are very different animals. Console yourself with the thought you got it for nothing :-) and that future updates might improve it as a pvr.

    Your views are pretty widely held around here by the way :-)
