InactiveI find that on some recorded programs when I press the skip forward button it just continues skipping to the end of the program.
Pressing stop or trying to skip back has no effect.
Is this a known problem ?

InactiveYes it is. Until it is fixed, for now the easiest way to stop it is to press the skip button again.

ModeratorTried to replicate over the last couple of hours without success.
Pressing skip button continually, or a few presses one after the other, HD and SD recordings, different channels, nothing instigates the problem for me.

InactiveThis evening had a similar occurence with the Cursor Left key. I am suspecting the fix to the key handler code to stop the Delete key being too enthusiastic. Something along the lines
IF not processing Delete key then skip next bit
where next bit includes something that should not be skipped.

InactiveYour solution regarding pressing the skip forward button again does work.I initially thought I had pressed it to much but sometimes just one press makes it skip along the whole recording. Oddly trying any other button , Stop, Pause, Skip Back doesnt stop it . It is also only on certain recordings Bargain Hunt being a prime example.

InactiveSkipping the whole of Bargain Hunt is no bad thing 😉

InactiveI thought this was going to be fixed in the latest software, but it is actually worse: previously it only occurred if the skip forward or back was pressed multiple times, now it sometimes happens on the first press

InactiveThe latest software (which has the fix for this) has not been released yet. There was an emergency release snuck in to fix a BT connectivity problem.

InactiveIf you have got reactions like a hawk you can sometimes stop it by pressing stop and then skip back but more often the not it fails to respond.
