    Hi

    Is it possible to record onto the hard disc from an external source via the

    SCART, or composite video?

    As Barry says this is not possible nor is it possible on most PVRs as they simply record the incoming digital stream and don’t need an MPEG encoder. A DVD recorder is your best bet.

    Thanks, Ithought that might be the case, so I will keep my old DVD recorder.
