    I have an oddity that has gone from BT to Humax. It is that every 6 minutes I get a disturbance of pixellation and sound drop due to my heating wifi thermostat calling home. Anyone else get this?

    Is the interference coming over the power supply? You could try plugging into a different ring or adding a spike / surge suppressor to see if that makes a difference.

    Make sure that you use good quality coax cable (ideally sat grade) and that any wallplates you have are the fully screened type.
