how do you setup a ftp server on the humax hdr-1000s?
Hi welcome to the forum. You can’t. Currently the box will only act as a media client. Media server capability is to come later.
I rather think that ftp will nevel appear, but wait and see, the DLNA sever I hope will.

Ah shame about ftp. Hope media streaming comes soon – very disappointed with the Echostar hdr 600s with sling. It crashed a lot and on occasion didn’t even record scheduled recordings. Hoping this box is more reliable.
