I have read that the USB ports on the DTR-T1000 will support photos and avi files, i have tried both in both ports on a stick without any joy.
Anyone got an ideas if/how it works.

No idea I’m afraid.
I have given up with YV, there is only so much beating head against brick wall I can take
They, YV, were aware of issues/problems/shortcomings with this unit many many many weeks before the trials forum even launched, and if they had taken any of it on board, could have had a half decent PVR by the time the main trial started 🙄
There is supposed to be an update in Oct, but USB function has not been mentioned as included.
