Is there any way to remotely “wake-up” the unit from stand-by?
Other than a really long stick!
Is there any kind of magic packet, or wake-on-lan thingy? I’m just being lazy having to go turn the unit on from standby and wondered if it could be done from my PC.
No. The ethernet port of the HDR is inactive while the unit is in standby probably to minimise power consumption, so WOL is not an option.
