    1. Adverts…arghhh

    2. You did not update the EPG or running status for overrun – on C4HD freesat and freeview.

    Thanks Barry :-)

Been watching from the buffer on Foxsat, now just 1 minute behind real time, recording on HD Fox T2. Recording finished on HD FOX. Going back to real time on Foxsat means can watch the end. Await the flack.

Big medal for the opening ceremony, it was fantastic. Also really good commentary unlike the awful drivel we got from bbc. So a big thank you to C4

I fully agree with the sentiment about the epg and overrun though. Luckily I was watching live by then, having caught up with live broadcast so could rewind live and record the remaining 63 minutes at the end.

What’s the saying about spoiling a ship for ha’penny’s worth of tar. It’s a crying shame that a quality broadcaster such as C4 doesn’t view the epg / overrun-status as important. I half expect it from C5, but C4 can and should do better.

Nevertheless, a brilliant opening ceremony and excellent coverage

Looks like I will have to watch on 4OD on my YouView box! 😆

But of course, not on 4OD, even on my laptop! 😥 Well maybe 4Seven will be better! :?

Luckily my friend recorded it on his Panasonic SD recorder and it captured all of it! :D

    It gets worse.

    As @ 09:40

Set cycling to record earlier on freesat 151 – not recording, running status has not changed.

Checking other para channels they are the same.

Maybe the Humax fix for the BBC Olympic HD channel recording problem needs another gander?

    @ 10:26

Now fixed, running status has changed and belatedly my cycling recording has started.

Did I say fixed, well maybe not.

Timer above did not stop when guide changed to no info available, N/N did not change.
