My DVD player is plugged into the scart on the back of my Humax PVR9200T. All works great until the Hummy starts recording when it kills the sound of the DVD. The DVD video comes through no problem. I thought it was a problem with the DVD but the same thing happens with the Wii if I plug this into the back of the Hummy – all perfect until the Hummy starts recording then the sound is killed. Trouble is my TV (brand new Panasonic) has only got one scart input so I ahve to daisy chain through the Hummy. Anyone got any ideas? Hummy running firmware 1.00.23.
A cheap manual SCART switch would work for you as you have to be over by the TV anway to put a disc in the DVD player so can press the selector switch while you are there.
