    I can move recordings onto a USB stick and then onto my PC or phone so I can play at leisure (the .ts file is treated as MPEG2 by Windows). However, I cannot figure out how to get the subtitles to go as well. Any advice? I’ve noticed there is a .hmt and a .nts file for each recording.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

    Sub titles are recorded as part of the ts file, and certainly work using vlc media player (test was BBC1 SD clip)
