As part of an educational study I have recently started exploring the inner workings of STBs and find myself in a world of DVB compliant EPGs, P4Ps and P2P based technologies! Am I out of date or simply being blinded by the industry achronyms? Does anyone know what, if any, form of database exists within the boxes themselves? I’ve tried the technical specs (YouView- as it is the newest to the market) but as a layperson find them confusing.
