How can I disable this useless and annoying feature? When selecting a programme to record from the guide it sometimes flashes up “Recommendation” of some other programme which has absolutely no connection with the one I want. As far as I can tell I have nothing selected under “genres”, and the manual makes no mention at all of this feature. This morning I selected the cycling on ITV 4 at 2000 tonight to record , and the box recommended the feature film which follows -Blazing saddles” OK, there could be a tenuous link this time.

This ‘very annoying’ feature is not user controllable, with either Standard Firmware or Customised Firmware, the suggestions are made by the broadcaster rather than the Humax, but it should be switchable.
