    Recently purchased Fox T2 (1TB).

    Also have Foxsat HDR.

If I am watching Foxsat and Fox t2 (in sby) starts recording, then the foxsat turns off!

Both connected via neet switch to the only hdmi connection on Sony tv.

    Is there a solution?

The neet switch auto selects the last powered input. When the FOX wakes up to record it powers up the hdmi for a short period and steals the hdmi link. Short of using a manual switch or reselecting the right input after it happens there’s not much you can do.

Welcome to the forum by the way :-)

    Thank you for your response.

If I had a tv with 2 hdmi connections would I have the same problem.

Thank you also for the welcome :D

No unless it was a Panasonic and one of the boxes uses AV1. (this also autoswitches like the neet hdmi switches do).

A AV amp with two HDMI inputs would also solve the problem.

I have a HD FOX T2 that gave me similar problems with a Neet switch sharing one of the hdmi inputs on my Denon amp. Giving it a seperate hdmi in on the amp sorted it out.

    Thanks again for your reply.

Tv getting old (2006). Perhaps more sensible to buy a new one?!?
