Are you supposed to be able to record programmes from the Red Button channel 301?
Here is what I tried:
The Formula 1 Practice One was on 301 this morning, but did not show on the EPG. So, the Radio Times gave the times of the broadcast and I entered them by hand. Curious thing was that having entered the times, “F1 Practice One” appeared at the top of the settings – all looked good. However, nothing was recorded when I looked this morning?
F1 FP1 will be on early tomorrow (Friday) morning so I am not sure what it was you were trying to record this morning. I record the 301 coverage of F1 and MotoGP all the time (albeit on my Topfield PVR rather than a Fox T2).
Actually for the last race I just ripped the R5SX commentary from my Topfield recording to my MP3 player so I could listen to it on the van radio (through an FM transmitter gadget) while I was on the road working.
