Well I am now on my second freesat box, Humax advised I exchange my first box after 2 weeks, this box is worse, freezes up when attempting to use the EPG, many channels do not have sound, some channels sound take ages to come through, anyone else having these problems?
Welcome – The lockups are recient and a fix is available and due to be broadcast (perhaps Wednesday) – (Barry any news?) – can be downloaded now from Humax beta site.
The sound problem – we need to know more – do you use an amp? The channels that do not have sound are possibly HD ones using 5.1 audio – there is a setup option to downmix it (can’t remember exact description) – the takes “ages to come through” really ages?
Could understand the need to wait for the start of a compressed block but I would think thats seconds.
