Is there anyway to alter the length of time that the i-plate is shown on screen after having pressed the button on the remote?
menu>settings>preferences>screen display>info display time is set to 5 seconds
I have noticed that this only affects the duration that the i-plate is shown when using the [p+ & p-] to select a channel. If I press the button the i-plate will stay on screen for 30 seconds if left to time-out.
Can this be altered?
No way to change it afaik – however you can get rid by pressing the exit button.
Remember whilst the iplate is displayed the back button will change to previously viewed channel, so having it disappear to quickly would raise some complaints I suspect.
I understand that it can be dismissed with the exit button however having an option would be nice.
Is there any other way to show the i-plate?
